New ACEO Print "Bunny by the Wall" Rabbit with pumpkins in Autumn

Now offering ACEO Prints through sunriseworkshop.com.  When properly cared for my prints will last for over 80 years.  They should be displayed under protective glass or in an acid free album for lasting beauty.

This print is called "Bunny by the Wall" and is a small version of an original in drawing I did last year.  I love Autumn colors and thought the rabbit was accented nicely by the orange in the pumpkins.  The print is shown larger than the actual 2.5" x 3.5" size so you can see some of the nice little details in the work.  The copyright shown in the picture is not on the print itself.  Each print is signed on the back by me, Kathryn M. Pinkham.  These are open edition prints, but are numbered in order of printing.  Each print is collectable and affordable!  At $2.99 per print, they're an inexpensive investment, sure to gain value over time.  They also make wonderful little gifts to mail in your holiday and special occation cards!

Getting chilly out again!! 40 degrees on October 1st.

This morning I took the dog out and noticed that it has gotten chilly again.  About 40 degrees.  For some folks around here, that's still t-shirt weather.  Not Me!  LOL  My Fall and Winter basic clothing consists almost entirely of denim and polar fleece.  In the dead of Winter, it will be the polar fleece pants under denim jeans with 3 sweatshirts.
I was thinking last night that it Really feels like Autumn now.  I wanted to curl up on the couch with a blanket and sip cocoa.  For some reason the thought of having a squirrel tale to wrap up with sounded nice.  Have you ever seen the squirrels fold that fluffy tail around themselves to stay warm?  Or curl it over the top of their heads while they much birdseed in the brisk morning air?  Sounds good to me!  lol  I love the changing of the leaves and the snow once it falls, but I only wish it would stay a little warmer here in Brownville, Maine.
I bought a postal scale soon after I brought the dog in this morning.  Ah.  The joy of online shopping.  I'd have to drive at least an hour (actually, have someone drive me, because I don't drive) to find one locally and it would probably cost twice as much as I paid.
The leaves just amaze me!  This is one of those years when the color has almost outdone itself.  Even the oaks are turning beautiful shades of orange and red.  Usually they turn brown quickly.  If you've got a chance to get into Maine, now would be the time!  Great leaf peeping this year!
